Your gift of your father’s WWII diary was unexpected and most pleasant. I have many books on the war. Your father’s diary will be the most treasured.

I hadn’t heard of your father’s death until I was told about it on the trip in September. I know he was a courageous man. Given his cancer, he was fortunate in not suffering pain.

I wish you and your mother a great 1995. And thanks again for the wonderful, unique gift.
