One photo (guys in Class As) was obviously taken prior to Company I going overseas. My father, a corporal at the time,
is seated at the far left. Cpl. Dale Clark (later SSG), standing on the far right, was killed around November 20, 1944.
One photo is of my father, on the right, with a motar crew. This was also taken prior to overseas deployment.
My father served briefly with the heavy weapons company, before transfering back to a rifle company.
The last photo was taken during a lull in combat, according to my father. The original is stamped France, November 1944 on the back.
